About interfaces and adding a jukebox
The details of this task are specific to the model and make of the jukebox you want to add and thus beyond the scope of this document. What’s more, you will need various privileges, not the least of which is having physical access to the jukeboxes and the Resource Manager server.
An interface is the means of communication between a jukebox and the Resource Manager server. Which interface is supported by a particular jukebox depends on the technical requirements and priorities of the jukebox vendor. Modern jukeboxes use convenient, more or less plug- and play-interfaces like ethernet or common disk interfaces like ATA or SCSI — the same that your computer uses to communicate with its built-in harddisk.
For successful integration of a jukebox into the jukebox network you will probably need a detailed manual for the particular jukebox you want to integrate, or support from the jukebox vendor.
